About Ashern Central School

Ashern Central School is a regional school located 180 kms north-west of Winnipeg, Manitoba that provides educational services to students from 13 different communities. Our average enrollment over the past few years has ranged from 275 to 325 students. This number has generally included international exchange students.

Ashern Central School offers a full range of core academic courses. As well, optional courses in Woodworking, Home Economics, Business Education, Music, Drama, French, Life Skills, and a Power Mechanics program with state of the art equipment are available within our facility.

Our Resource and Guidance programs endeavor to ensure that all of our students receive the most suitable programing available to result in Graduation and their own personal career choice.

The entire Staff of Ashern Central School, including teachers, educational assistants, secretaries, caretakers and bus drivers endeavour to provide the safest and cleanest learning environment we can.
